Young Adult Coaching
I’m so glad you are here. First thing I want to say is that I’ve been where you are. I see you, you are not alone. You try so hard, and everyone on the outside looking in doesn’t have a clue what you are feeling and how hard it is to be playing defense every minute of every day.
Choosing whether to work with an ADHD Coach can be life changing. If you choose me as your Coach, we will work together to learn about your strengths and focus on the things you do well. Coaching will open you up to possibilities and opportunities, and understanding and acceptance of your unique brain wiring.
Please reach out for the 30 minute call to see if we are a good fit. I promise that you will end up having more fun talking about your life than you think. So just give me a shout. I’m here for you if you need me.
PARENTS - Being stuck in the frustration and worry of watching your son or daughter struggle with their ADHD is discouraging and at times, deflating. A common thought we all have had is, “Will my teen have a good future? I feel I am failing as a parent.”
The most important thing that you should know as a parent of an ADDer is that their intentions are good, they truly mean well, and they hate making mistakes. Making a mistake means they internally compound and ruminate on what they have just done which can be physically painful. To make it worse, you can’t see this happen because it’s all in their brain and body.
What I hope to achieve with your teen, is that there is a better way to go about living life as a student, friend, son or daughter. These kids have passions, drive, determination, grit, and an intensity to accomplish things just as neurotypical individuals do.
It’s about changing your mindset that they are here for a greater purpose. ADHD is truly a gift.
